i'm sad. i'm sad because i was excited for this book (also, my first netgalley arc yay!) but sadly, i wasn't enjoying it enough to keep reading.
it was funny at times and that was the only reason why i kept reading it. they are supposed to be seniors but they don't feel like seventeen/eighteen year olds at all, they feel more like fourteen or fifteen year olds. also, the friends and their constant lying were getting on my nerves.
given the fact that this is an uncorrected copy, the book may improve for its official publication in may and for that, i would say that even if my present self didn't like it, my teenage self would have liked it enough to finish it, it wouldn't have mattered if it was the uncorrected copy or the finished one.
