Red Notice: A True Story of High Finance, Murder, and One Man's Fight for Justice by Bill Browder

dark informative sad slow-paced

3.5

This book was an informative read, though it dragged at times. The book reflects Bill Browder's own dual identity as both an investor and as a human rights activist. He spends a great deal of time discussing the ins and outs of his investment efforts, smattered with the portions I found far more interesting - his relationship with his family and the effort to punish him for defying the Russian oligarchs. I understand that some of this was necessary for an understanding of why Bill Browder was targeted, but the time spent discussing his investments dragged for me.
