This book started out slow, and I found the first 25-30 percent a little hard to engage with, but as I got deeper in I enjoyed it more and more, and there was a surprising level of depth. The premise was a lot of fun and I liked that the book was a little dorky without being all inside jokes and gate keeping. I liked the FMC and MMC, and even though the dynamics of their friend group were a bit confusing (there were a few side characters I kept forgetting about), I think the whole thing worked.
