This was such a sweet and easy read. I couldn’t put it down. There’s something very addictive about the writing. I was hooked on these characters from start to finish. Every time Felix called her “ima-mmi” which means “my love” in Efik, I giggle and melt into my chair. Absolutely loved Felix and Ebony with all their drama. 

This story was both predictable and unpredictable and I quite enjoyed it.  

I do wish the ending was done a bit differently and that’s why i didn’t give it a 4.5star.

But still, I enjoyed the book overall.
Meanwhile, a side character I’d like to read his own story is Kola. I feel like it will be more angsty.
