Roommate Arrangement

This is the beginning of a great series.
We're in a small town were a handsome bar owner, Art De Alameida, decides to create a group of divorced men to support each others navigating their new lives as singles.
Little did he know that all those men will fall in love again and that they'll find the love of their life.
In this book, an introvert, a little akward and quirky fantasy writer, Beau, offers a room to his brother's best friend, Payne, who recently divorced after finding out that his husband has been cheating on him.
Payne is so grateful to Beau for the help, but he doesn't know that the man has been in love with him his whole life.
They are comfortable around each other and soon their forced proximity situation will put Beau under a new light and Payne will find himself more and more attracted to him.
He is conflicted, though, because he thinks it's too soon to start a new relationship and because Beau is his best friend's little brother.
Their relationship goes from friends who support each other to friends with benefits to finally lovers.

What prevented me from giving a higher rate:
How things ended between Payne and his ex was unsatisfying: I would have loved way more for revenge on that cheating asshole.
And when Beau was telling Payne about how difficult it was to attend the man he loved's wedding, made me sad for him.
One thing I adore the most about this series are the texts in the DMC club, they're so very hilarious!
I received a copy of this book from ForewordPR and this is my honest review
