I appreciate that the man isn't exclusively masculine, but the way he talks and his dominant actions felt a little too stereotypical overall. I like the use of imagery for the gruesome parts, and the bold approach to a lot of content/topics that warrant the Content Warnings. This genre isn’t really my favorite, so probably not reading the rest of the series, but don’t regret trying something new. And I learned a couple new words along the way :)
