New Moon by Ian McDonald

4.0

A sci-fi trilogy about the future when humans have settled on the moon to extract its resources. How do you survive in one of the deadliest environments? Though the focus of the book is on the dynamics of five large family corporations, the world building is well-woven into the story.

The book is written from multiple perspectives, covering three generations of Luna people. It can be a bit confusing at first to follow the different characters and see how they fit into the plot. My only complaint is that there are a lot of typos in the print edition that trips me when reading the book.
