Hendirx always delivers me the feel good 80's horror, that I need to escape into.
I dont come to him for genre changing, mind blowing stories. I come for the comfort of a good old fashioned slasher!
Sure there was more potential here for this concept to go further, but I loved that it was a little messy, very predicatable and wonderfully over the top. Hendrix obviously has a fantastic understanding of the horror world, and the ability to give me Freddy level love in book format.
