I was not expecting to like the romance aspect of this book as much as I did; the premise felt too silly at first. But the depth that Feyi and Alim explored with each other and the growth that Feyi experienced as a result was really beautiful to read. I think that there are some plot holes or unresolved story lines here, but if the point of the book is to focus on the growth of the main characters the author accomplished that. I would like to read more about some of the side characters and their romances (Milan, Joy, Pooja). I hope the author pulls an Elena Armas and writes more books within this universe.
