This is not the quality I’d expect from Sara Cate at this point as pretty much an auto-read author for me. I’m wondering if the writing and/or editing was rushed because there were even editing errors (finished copy here) such as a section from Sylvie’s POV and she internally says “Sylvie and I turned to look at Killian” you’re Sylvie though 😭
The first 55% is 2 stars, he calls her the B word and cow and at one point specifically “heinous B” and blames her for his alcoholism. When I’m confused why he agreed to this in the first place. The name calling was giving me the ick, did not lend itself to tension nor chemistry. BUT the last 30% I really enjoyed sooo had to settle on 3 stars.
