I'm beginning to understand why other readers can't or don't rate memoirs. It's even more difficult to review them. There's no true way words can possibly do justice to the power of a person's life and their experiences. Especially those a person of color experiences. But I will say Bell's memoir is absolutely worth reading and highly recommended.
