How to Fail: Everything I've Ever Learned From Things Going Wrong by Elizabeth Day

4.0

I love Elizabeth Day’s podcast and the book’s a good addition for fans. A few bits of the book were very similar to the podcast, but generally it was honest and insightful and written in a fresh way.

A lot of it’s based on the author’s personal experiences, and I found that some of what she viewed as failures...didn’t really seem like it to me! So, it depends how you view these things - which is the point the book’s trying to make, I suppose.

Either way, it doesn’t really matter, because it was interesting and well-written and funny and ultimately a very positive bookshelf addition. So I enjoyed it! Also, it is brilliant that someone’s written a book on something that is such a universal experience.
