ahysanti 's review for:
Queen of Air and Darkness
by Cassandra Clare
Very satisfying ending (probably too satisfying, especially since I was expecting a... more tragic ending for the Blackthorns, but hell, I'm not complaining)! Twists and turns and rollercoaster of emotions à la Cassandra Clare as per usual. I think I cried every couple of pages, especially in the first page. Everyone was just so sad. Or maybe I'm just very emotional about these books; I even cried when a character just mentioned remembering another character.
I know some people weren't pleased
Random bits I loved in this book:
- Kitty!! <3 - Thule!Liv, and Cameron, aw (Livvy ended up with her hottest Avenger, after all).
- Dru and Tav are precious and must be protected (until TWP breaks her, at least).
- And I loved Julian's scheming as usual! Such a smart ass. I find myself rereading the last few chapters of this book, from the war council meeting 'til the battle then the end. Sooo good.
I am very curious how the but considering Cassie's answer on Tumblr.. I just, ugh. I hate those bigots so much.

about Thule, but I loved reading about that world. Granted, it did seem kind of like an easy way out (like.. if the Horace—the book's antagonist, ironically—didn't send our heroes to Faerie on a suicide mission, they might not have won this round?), but still, I found myself invested in the Thule characters' fates and would love to revisit them someday.Random bits I loved in this book:
