Three Shattered Souls
by Mai Corland
I couldn’t put the book down. I needed to find out how the war would end and the fates of the characters.
It was a fast read and decent pacing. It didn’t repeat as much as the previous book, but it did still repeat more than I thought necessary.
There were so many twists and turns in this book. Betrayal after betrayal. Secret after secret getting exposed. So many revelations. It kept me interested just like the first book.
I was not okay with the fate of my favorite character. They didn’t deserve it. And we don’t get enough of the aftermath to see how the others cope with that loss.
Also, YOU CANNOT END A SERIES LIKE THIS. THE EPILOGUE WAS UNFAIR. I hope she reconsiders her trilogy idea and writes another one.
