Is Lestat highly problematic? Yes. Does he need extensive and deep-reaching therapy? YES. But did I still enjoy this book? You guessed it, Yes. I laughed the whole way through. I grimaced at the questionable parts. I cried at the sad parts. What a journey this book was profound and camp at the same once. Lestat is the character of all time. I (begrudgingly and aware of all of his flaws) stan a messy bisexual bitchy mess. Lestat is BRAT.
