While I still really enjoyed this book, I just don't think it was quite on the same level as The King of Bourbon Street The smut wasn't as kinky, and the plot was a bit weird, but I liked

seeing Maddy's role as a dom reverse to that of a sub in the same way that Sol's role reversed in the first book

. Still, a fun, quick read, and an author that I would pick up anything from.
