This was a recommendation and I'd been excited about it for weeks before actually started reading, and then was excited for about 60% of the reading. But then I started to wonder what the point was going to be - and I don't think the author knew what she was doing anymore by that point. Now that I've gotten to the end of the book (I think?) I figured out the key message, but honestly I don't think we needed THAT long to get there, as the main character herself hints to it all along. All in all, this book promised so much - and I still think the premise is awesome for a TV show, much like "Being Erica" -, but it was badly delivered. And I absolutely hated the ending - it was abrupt, made no sense and didn't feel well-rounded at all.
