If you’re looking for a feel-good hockey romance - with just the right amount of spice - I highly recommend you check out Marissa's debut novel, Hot Shot!

The MMC, Hunter, is an NHL rookie for the Orlando Storm and the FMC, Madison, is a baker in Orlando, Florida. These two were super relatable and had great chemistry. I also loved the side characters and I am excited to see more from them. Marissa did an awesome job setting the scene for future books within the Orlando Storm universe.

Hot Shot is a true sports romance. Marissa is passionate about hockey and it shows! She pays attention to detail when writing any hockey-related chapters. I also loved seeing a heroine who actually knows about hockey - this made a huge difference to me.

There were a few moments that felt a little rushed to me, but overall, I thought Marissa did a wonderful job with the story and kept me on my toes with some of the reveals in this book. I had the pleasure of designing her discreet cover, and I can't wait to work with her again in the future 🫶

Thank you to Marissa for providing an eARC of Hot Shot!
