On the Island
by Tracey Garvis Graves
It’s more a 3.5⭐️ but I rounded up because I did feel compelled to keep picking it up to see what would happen next. I enjoyed that it jumped right in from the first chapter and didn’t waste time setting the scene. It was a unique plot-line, and I’m curious to know if there are any other “stranded on an island” romances out there similar to this because I need more now lol.
However, the writing style didn’t jive with me at all and felt choppy and almost juvenile, so I don’t plan on reading any other books by this author, and the second half started to drag a bit so I was ready for it to wrap up. I enjoyed TJ’s character a lot but good lord was Anna immature for a woman in her early 30s. TJ and Chicken were honestly the stars of the island
