Girl in the Blue Coat by Monica Hesse

This book is so under appreciated... it's bound to make you gasp in fear, shock, anger, and hatred. I was very lenient at the beginning, wondering how all the peices would fit together in such a short book, but the ending was masterfully created and insanely well put together. It definitely will go down as one of my favorite historical fiction books, although the writing is a tad choppy in some areas. Generally wonderfully told and breathtaking.
