Get ready to have a flaming good time getting to know Kavner Fury! He and London are like fire and gasoline. She is certainly no pushover - she's immune to his money, his power. She doesn't want to want him but Kav has a way of getting under her skin!
Kav could come over as an arrogant playboy but the man has depth, he donates things under the radar and he melts around his niece. London is independent, highly intelligent, determined and unbribable. I loved that her personal dealing with scuzzy finance people fuelled her ambition.
When these two get around each other the chemistry is explosive and the smexy times are hawt! Kav is a man determined to satisfy! The romance may be front and centre but the story surrounding the hunt for money launderers is not suffering. The story is well crafted and paced and I was actually stumped as to the baddie - I would make a rubbish detective, lol.
These NOLA natives go from strength to strength and show that family is more than blood connections. Cannot wait for the next brother to fall!
