Sweet and spicy with perfect winter vibes.
Can a story that takes place during a war between two races be cozy? Because this novella felt cozy and heartwarming and sexy as hell.
Kessa is a badass FMC who holds her own: a fighter and a survivor who matches her troll counterpart step for step. Zal’jan is perfectly well matched to Kessa in both skill and sheer stubbornness. They are the perfect pair and watching them turn to each other first for survival and then out of love was beautiful.
I hope this pair returns in a future book. This novella left me wanting more!
