This is a dark horror tale with several unique twists and turns. I thought I understood where this was going, but Thomas surprised me by changing the perspective partway through and telling the story from an unexpected point of view. After that, the point of view shifts again, working towards an ending I did not see coming. A different take on horror with a twisted heart.
