The Counselors

Plot was okay. I genuinely liked the idea of it, the mystery it was supposed to hold, but felt it was executed poorly. Didn’t enjoy the writing, way too “she did this and therefore felt like this”.
I never got enough time between Heller and Goldie to fall in love with the idea of them. A tragic love story with murder and financial fraud could’ve been great but it just wasn’t. I’ll keep saying it, I liked the plot twist and I liked the idea of the plot, but it just was not done correctly at all.
There were way too many moments where build up didn’t happen/happened very little so big emotions sort of happened out of no where. When Goldie got angry at someone, it felt so forced. I understood why she got angry, but it didn’t come across correctly at all.
Also, it was never (at least to my knowledge) fully explained HOW Heller found about Ava’s dads tax fraud. How did he get involved? Why?? So fucking confusing.
One last thing, give me more camp content if you’re gonna give me a summer
