I'm going to have to reread this. It was so difficult for me to get into it, I lost the plot at several points.
Plus, I kept getting distracted by how many references Bruce Coville used in his series Into The Land Of The Unicorns. Some of the plot points and characters are basically the same in a way I didn't expect.
