Do I Know You? by Emily Wibberley, Austin Siegemund-Broka

1.0

These characters need to work on themselves before they work on each other. It made this book extremely unbelievable and unenjoyable because second chance marriage tropes obviously need to incorporate self-growth. This book did not.

There aren't many books that have the second chance marriage trope, so I was excited to read this book. The initial concept of the book and perhaps 50 pages kept me wanting more. But as the book progressed, it was the same thing every chapter and it became boring. Not to mention the FMC was toxic to the point that it made her husband think he had to change himself in order to be what she wanted. What the heck? And the fact that her sister stopped talking to her and didn't invite her to her wedding because she missed her plane? Come on. This was not an enjoyable read, and I can't believe I actually finished it.

I rarely give 1 star ratings, and this book is lucky I gave it even that. I felt like I had to give it something since I finished it afterall.
