Five on a Treasure Island
by Enid Blyton
Re-read it after many years just to check why I loved it so much! I really wanted to read "the secret seven" first but since I didn't got a copy, I read this instead. I will try to read all of Enid Blyton books I loved, slowly at some point just to relive my childhood reading days haha!
Also I remember loving George as a character and really not liking Anne. Like Anne used to frustrates me but this time around, it was the opposite. The amount of time, it was written how George wanted to be perceived as a boy instead of a girl kind of was annoying and repetitive. Like don't get me wrong, she is a teenager and I have gone through that phase myself of being like a tomboy and stuff, but it was so much emphasized through out the book which I personally thought was unnecessary. And I really thought Anne was an Angel even though she could have a loose mouth at times but again she is a kid so it's fine!
