I enjoyed the audiobook for sure, I think one thing that lowkey started to piss me off about the narrator was the different accents as it lowkey felt bordering on blaccent at times. She is a very talented narrator, I just... yeah. Not to mention the voodoo-esque Madame Nouvelle Lune as a character was... off... for lack of a better word...
I will also be so honest, I am quite sick of queer romance novels based on astrology. It's just so overdone, and it's one of those things where, like, if there was a decent selection of mainstream sapphic romance novels (SRN's) to pick from it wouldn't piss me off so much. But I feel like, at this point, at least 60% of SRN's have astrology as a central theme and I'm just so extremely over it.
I also thought the main character was not just stupid but also belligerently ignorant, like it pissed me off so much that she freakingquit her job for a woman she's been on 1 singular date with and then was shocked that the woman was like "um ma'am please don't do that, especially considering you are screwing me and our project over in the process" like i was seething with so much rage for Gray at that point that I was so fkn close to DNF'ing...
Throughout the whole book she just kept pissing me off and I personally would not have been friends with this woman (big insult, btw, as I'm a very cool, positive, friendly, and upbeat person)
As for the actual astrology part, the signs sh*t was just foolish, however, I did enjoy learning the bit about Saturn returns, which I did not already know. I'm very excited for my own!!
There is also just a bit too much homophobia for a romance novel about lesbians...
