OH MY GOSH!! I loved this story so much! I was on the edge of my seat, anxious to find out what happened next!!! I usually hate dual POVs. However, One Day in December was the first book where I loved reading both character's perspectives. There wasn't a single instance of boredom. All of the character's (even the secondary ones) were lovable, and they felt REAL. I forgot I was reading, and the story played out as a movie in my head. I also loved how despite the different conflicts that occurred, friendships stayed strong, but not in a sappy "we're BFFs" kind of way.
The only reason I'm not rating this book 5/5 stars is because I felt the ending was a bit cheesy. Don't get me wrong, the ending was good, I just felt like it didn't match the rest of the book's energy. That isn't at all to say. I think the book was lacking. I really loved it!
Also... I'm excited that there were recipes in the back of the book. (I'm definitely going to try making The Delancey Street Special!!)
