I ate this up. I loved the characters, and the chemistry between the two MCs was fantastic. The world building was pretty entry level. It was definitely secondary to the main story, but there’s enough there that I can tell it’ll be expanded on. It was less immediately dense than Daughter of No Worlds was. I think that’s part of why the pacing seemed so quick to me, and it made the book really easy to read.
The ending was so entertaining! So many conflicting emotions. I loved it!
