I couldn’t connect with any of the characters they were all just too annoying or took themselves way too seriously. And then the killer in the end I didn’t figure out which is better than the last book and it did make sense but who is the original edgewater killer??
This book was advertised as thrilling but I really didn’t get that. It took way too long to get into the mystery part of the book and I think the use of flashbacks could have been integrates better it was kind of confusing. Also the feminism side of things wasn’t really dealt with I would have liked to see something happen to the detective considering he couldn’t figure anything out himself. Also the coach should have faced some repercussions simply cause he’s terrible. But I guess that’s not realistic…
