The Roommate Risk by Talia Hibbert

4.0

This was fantastic. First and foremost, I must bring up this cover, look at how wonderful it is. I love it when characters are illustrated nicely, but also match their in-book descriptions perfectly. Now, onto the actual contents of this book: I really loved Rahul and Jasmine, what a pair indeed. Their dynamic was such a pleasure to witness, such a sweet friendship and a passionate love. I've seen some people describe Rahul as too much of a simp but I must disagree, it was perfect, you could feel his emotions and feelings for Jasmine just pouring out of him.

I realise this is a Talia Hibbert book so this isn't likely, but as much as I enjoyed all the sex scenes, I think I would have liked to spend just a little bit more time exploring Jasmine's issues, especially because it ended with her kinda turning a new leaf. Don't get me wrong, it was present but I think it could have been discussed in a little bit more detail,

Other than that, I had a really pleasant time with this read and, while I know they're fictional, I really do wish them both the best.
