The MMC has the emotional maturity of a 12 year old boy. This wasn't miscommunication - this was someone with absolutely no emotional intelligence. I kept trying to figure out why the FMC wanted him?? There was zero chemistry between them and he wasn't likeable yet she just kept going after him. It had potential but it was like listening to two pre-teens trying to figure out dating. The side characters were more interesting.
