Legends & Lattes was exactly what I needed to get out of a reading slump, and it had the perfect holiday vibe. The ambiance of the world was just right, the romance was sweet, and the book was a quick read.
The characters and the coffee shop were just so charming, and as someone who loves eating and making food, it was especially enchanting.
My only complaint was the use of modern vulgar language in a medieval-inspired fantasy rather than old-fashioned curses (which are hilarious and would have added to the comedic value of the book). The language took me out of the story a bit and prevented me from being fully immersed - for that I'm taking away a star.
