I really enjoyed this, and reccommend it highly! I loved the message of this book, the emphasis on chosen families and finding real, deep love through friendships, and seeking out something more for our futures. It felt so realistic and it brought me back to a time I don’t admittedly remember well, as a middle schooler through the ‘08 recession. It gave me some perspective on the state of things as of late and the past few years in comparison to that time.

My only immediate complaints that come to mind are;
1) the back cover / description is a bit misleading as to how much of the book will talk about Tig’s plans for the future, but, I still liked it even if I had to shift some expectations.
2)
Marina’s character felt stronger early on compared to later in the book. Its hard to describe but, she started to lose some of her flesh as a character by the time they were breaking up. I kind of get it but, I think she deserved a bit more towards the end - although Sneha would probably say the same thing.

Still, I really loved this and would reccommend this highly.
