Although this story is classified as a "New Adult" book, it feels completely different from the angst filled hormone driven stories that that particular genre generally throws out. This really feels a bit more like a cute adult romantic comedy. It is light and a bit fluffy, but it is super, super cute, and right now that is exactly what I needed to read. The story needed to be tightened up in a few spots. It seemed as if some story lines were thrown out there but never actually dealt with comprehensively, and a few just sort of dropped at the end. But the main story line involving Mia and Ethan, their mutual need to land the job they both are competing for, and the mutual attraction they share that puts their chances for getting the job in jeopardy ... that was super cute and fun to read. Both Mia and Ethan were great lead characters for a story such as this one, kind, intelligent, and fun, but flawed enough to keep the story interesting. Four stars!
