Beezus and Ramona by Beverly Cleary

3.0

Finally! It took me way too long to get through this one, despite the short length. While I liked the little vignettes, they became repetitive after a while. The story mostly holds up and has a bunch of great messages for children. While I would recommend it to kids around Beezus' age (8 or 9), the language does show its age, and there were a few terms that must have been used more back in the fifties, such as papoose.
