This book is a bit fast paced and jumped all over the place, especially for the length. We didn’t get to experience a lot of what was said in the book. We didn’t see how Finn became her best friend. It was instalove and chemistry wasn’t really built on page. Progression happened in days and not naturally. I like that the harem had to get it together and work it out. They didn’t just mesh right off the bat. Who she chose as her first was odd but that’s probably why the author chose him. Maeve didn’t believe she wouldn’t hurt Finn but wanted Christian to believe he wouldn’t hurt her. The White Lady literally told her to be careful who she shares her power with and what does she do?! Just dumb. Rhys hadn’t been home in three years but hadn’t seen his parents in a decade? Why wouldn’t Finn want to know who Jensen was torturing if he hates torture? How did Saskia just happen upon Jensen?

I will never be a fan of adult MCs knowing the FMC while they are a minor. I don’t care how brief, fantasy or not. The blurb references MFMMM when it’s really MMFMM.
