I went into this book blindly other than knowing that it was about knitting. I would highly recommend that if you are interested in this, go into it knowing little more than what the synopsis tells you.
There were many things that I loved about this book, some of my favourites were the references made such as Lord of the Rings and many references to Taylor Swift. I loved being able to learn more about fashion history through Cassie as a narrator and also how the author describes the different fashion pieces. I love the friendships that Cassie formed through The KnitWits and how they felt like one big family rather than just a community group.
There were a few parts of this book that I didn’t like, one of these that was clear to me by the end of the first chapter was how much I disliked Azra, but I do think that it is a part of her character and I did hope that she would grow by the end of the novel.
I was sent this e-Arc on Netgalley in exchange for a fair and honest review.
