REVIEW :

My initial plan when I started the reread of the Harry Potter Series was to binge read the entire series in one go. Unfortunately, I had 2 books that were missing from my collection and I was only able to get them recently. With kids being quarantined and online classes having started the laptop I used was busy for their school learning. So here I am picking up my physical copies to read while they learn for school.

Every book in the Harry Potter series brings back emotions and memories from back in the day and floods me every time I read them. I remember being obsessed with the books and then getting excited about the movies and these were some of my favorite book memories. I saw the movie is till the 4th book and therefore remember a lot of details even though there are some differences with the book and movies. I remember a lot of things from this book and so I was able to fly through the pages pretty quickly. Sirius gets introduced along with a few other important characters. The magical creatures and magical technologies were very interesting. I felt all of the emotions that Harry, Ron, and Hermione was feeling. Man, Hermione was such a delight in this book. I feel like with each book you love Hagrid a little bit more. Snape and Malfoy did their best to be as hateful a possible to Harry and his friends. I know what happens in the coming books, but it is just so hard to like Snape or even give him the benefit of the doubt in these first few books. Crookshanks and bits connected to it were a bit foggy for me. I am so glad I reread the Prisoner Of Azkaban. I loved walking again through the emotions I had while reading it for the first time. I feel it's a great series for younger kids to start on with the school setting and magic and wonderful creatures all making the world brighter and more fun. It was fun reading it and I loved every second of reading it. Highly recommend and I will be giving the book 5 stars. If you are a middle grader and you haven't read the Harry Potter series I highly recommend checking it out. It's a great series and will be a fun and entertaining read.
