The gasps I gusped, the pearls I clutched, and the screams I scrumpt. I think this series gets some crap because the story does seem to drag on an awful lot for how little *actually* happens, but the world, the characters, and the plot have sucked me in enough to ride the ride to the end. I will say despite how slow some of the books may feel the last 25% tend to pack a punch, and this was no exception.
