I was disappointed in this book, and I think that if this book was turned into a series, it'll be much better.
Why? Because in this stand-alone form, it's just felt too plain, and everything was really basic. The build up wasn't good, and there was zero emotions in my opinion. I think the plot had really good potential, but the execution let me down. If there was more in-depth thinking about everything, hence like a book series, it would be much better.
