3.5 stars
Compromised by Bailey Queen was an enjoyable romantic mystery. The 2 main characters, Ben & Tanner, have a rocky start but they have to work together when someone starts killing gay men in the small PA town who had previous romantic connections with Tanner. It’s a whodunit that was fairly easy to figure out but the plot and characters were engaging enough that this didn’t detract much from the story. I figured out the who but I did have the why wrong so that was good. I wish there was more to Ben’s family “issues”, which were resolved with no problems whatsoever. He was considering suicide in the beginning of the book & didn’t contact them when he had a serious medical emergency but the issues appear to have been all in his head.
So overall a good story, recommend for an enjoyable distraction for a few hours.
