Meh.
It's hard to ignore the ridiculous premise (people are immortal, so there's a system in place to randomly cull people in order to keep the population in check. Instead of, I don't know, just limiting the number of kids people can have).
The plot was very by-the-books and at no point did anything surprising happen. But, it was still reasonably fun. And the cover looks amazing, which apparently matters to me a great deal.
So, yeah. I'll read more, but I'm not clamoring for it.
