"I realize now that it will take time, that the road ahead is long and shrouded in darkness. It is a road which will not always take me where I wish to go - and I doubt I will live to see it end. But I will travel down it nonetheless."

I love the Kenway saga so much. Unfortunately learning about Haytham's childhood for half of the book brought me to near tears of boredom as I realized I could be making more progress in IT by Stephen King instead.

The only big part I loved was the part where the game's time period takes place in. I love the father/son conflicting relationship, it was done SO well. Also, I did enjoy learning about what happened to Edward Kenway (aka my precious cinnamon roll) after the events of Black Flag, learn more about Jenny, as well as Reginald Birch.
