I've been anticipating this book since I finished King of Wrath. While I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first, the book was still absolutely incredible (as are all of her works). I was blown away but this as it wasn't exactly what I was expecting, and I just loved jumping back into the world she has created. I loved all the small cameos and references to her previous novels during this one, It was *chef's kiss*. Kai is the epitome of the saying, a gentleman in the streets and a freak in the sheets; because god damn, could I possibly have one of him, please? I thoroughly enjoyed this couple and supported and rooted for them completely. I am anxiously awaiting the next book, King of Greed, and I'm hoping it'll be about Dominic and Alessandra's damaged marriage!
