I- I hated that ending so much, that I actually wanted to scream. While this book wasn't amazing up until that point, as it felt a little too much like a Single White Female reimagining, it was fairly enjoyable, but that "twist" really pissed me off. I was very tempted to give this book a 1 star rating purely because of that, but like I said, there were some really nice parts to this, especially Bill. I love how he remains by Becka's side, and doesn't just automatically assume that she's losing it, too many horror stories feature that trope, and it's honestly really tiring. I don't really know if I'll bother with the sequel to this, because I haven't heard the greatest things, and that's from people that actually enjoyed this one lol, but only time will tell.
