In the Blink of an Eye: Dale, Daytona, and the Day that Changed Everything by Michael Waltrip

4.0

I saw an advertisement for this book while watching the Daytona 500. I've been a big fan of Mikey's for a while now and decided to check this book out from the library.

I'm glad I did. While the title leads you to think the book is from that fateful crash to the present. . . it's actually a book from Mikey's beginnings to the present.

There's a big chunk devoted to Dale, as he played a very important part in Mikey's racing career. It was very sad to read about Dale's crash, but I'm glad Mikey found an outlet for his grief. Many NASCAR fans will appreciate this book . . . whether they are an Earnhardt fan or not.
