izziede 's review for:
With Everything I Am
by Kristen Ashley
This is the second of three books and although they are all individual couples in each story, all three books are linked and would be best read in order. They are all involved in fighting a common cause and they need all three couples to win the battle so each book is about how each couple get together.
This story is Callum and Sonia. He is a werewolf and she has been raised ignorant of their world although she has a connection with him and has done since a child but she doesn't understand it.
KA writes about their growing relationship but has an uncanny understanding of male/female interaction, yes you have the usual KA female resistant to the hero's advances but it is hilarious in parts and at times extremely touching.
Callum is your usual arrogant super alpha who thinks this 'claiming' business will be easily sorted and he can get on with his job as King as soon as its done and Sonia can do her job by 'supporting' him.
The scene in the cabin which is their first real interaction as adults together is hilarious as she thinks he is a good looking lunatic who is delusional. There is lots of touching moments between Sonia and Callum's mother and KA as usual provides a supportive group of friends and family.
It has a fantasy element but this does not spoil the fantastic love story between Callum and Sonia.
Happy for now ending but enemy threat runs through series is concluded in next book.
Previous couple appear briefly. Plot spoilers from book 1 as their story is referred to on a couple of occasions.
