Did not finish book. Stopped at 59%.
I just couldn't do it anymore.  I just kept thinking "These kids are 17, aren't they?"  How is one of them a super soldier?  Why is this rogue who is "decades older" than the FMC crushing so hard on her?  He literally said "she reminds me of myself when I was her age".   That's a hard no from me, bud.  It is different when that line is delivered in an adult contemporary taboo age-gap romance and both individuals are adults.  This fully a Young Adult Fantasy Romance.  Ick Factor Level 100.

Also, the dragon is their primary form but yet when in human form, she kept referring to "her dragon" inside as it if was an entirely separate consciousness.  For a creature that was born from an egg and flew before they ever shifted, her inner monologue was 100% human.

I got it as a gift in a Blind Date with a Book so I will tell the gift giver I finished it...
